เชิญชวนทุกท่านมาเป็น Speaker [ Call for Speakers ]

อยากขอเชิญชวนทุกท่านมาแบ่งปันเรื่องราวดี ๆ บนเวที WordCamp โดยเราเปิดรับทุกเรื่องตั้งแต่สิ่งที่คุณเรียนรู้จากการติดตั้งเว็บไซต์ WordPress แรกของคุณ ไปจนถึงเทคนิคขั้นสูงในการปรับ custom field บน WordPress !

ทางทีมงานต้องการให้ WordCamp ครั้งนี้เปิดกว้าง และได้ประโยชน์กับผู้ใช้ทุกระดับ เพราะฉะนั้นสามารถส่งหัวข้อเรื่องไหนก็ได้ที่เกี่ยวกับ WordPress อาทิ development, design, content, marketing etc. โดยเป็นระดับเริ่มต้น กลาง หรือสูงได้ทั้งนั้นครับ

คุณไม่จำเป็นต้องเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญ คนดัง หรือมีประสบการณ์การพูดมาก่อน อย่าให้ความคิดแบบนั้นปิดโอกาสของคุณ! เราขอแค่เรื่องที่แชร์เป็นเรื่องที่คุณสนใจ และตั้งใจอยากมาเล่าให้เป็นประโยชน์กับท่านอื่น ๆ

เราไม่มีข้อจำกัดในหัวข้อการพูด ขอเพียง:

  • เกี่ยวกับ WordPress โดยตรง หรือมีความเกี่ยวข้องกับผู้เข้างาน
  • เคารพกฏของสังคม WordPress, WordCamp และ GPL
  • เป็นสิ่งที่คุณสนใจ และอยากมาแชร์

โดยแต่ละ session จะมีเวลาประมาณ 35 นาที รวมถึง 5-10 นาที สำหรับ Q&A หรือหากมีหัวข้อที่น่าสนใจจำนวนมาก เราอาจจะจัดบางส่วนไปอยู่ใน Lightning Talk (การพูดแบบสั้น ๆ 5-10 นาที) อีกด้วย

งานจะจัดในวันที่ 18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2561 ครับ

สิ่งที่คุณจะได้รับ

นอกจากโอกาสในการพูดบนเวทีงาน WordPress ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศแล้ว ผู้พูดจะได้รับบัตรเข้างาน WordCamp Bangkok และของต่าง ๆ จากงาน อาทิ เสื้อยืด สติกเกอร์ ฟรี!

วีดิโอของคุณจะได้รับการอัพโหลดบน WordPress TV ซึ่งเป็นเว็บไซต์ที่รวมวีดิโอจาก WordCamp ทั่วโลก

โดยสามารถส่งหัวข้อได้ตั้งแต่ วันนี้ – 31 ธันวาคม 2560 และทีมงานจะประกาศหัวข้อในงานภายใน วันอาทิตย์ที่ 7 มกราคม 2561 หากมีข้อสงสัยเกี่ยวกับการเป็น Speaker สามารถสอบถามได้ ที่นี่ ได้ตลอดครับ 🙂

Talks for all skill levels will be considered, and a presentation on things you learned setting up your very first website can be just as valuable as a technical walk-through of how custom fields are implemented within WordPress.

We’re also looking to put together a show-and-tell segment, where you can tell a story of how your WordPress website evolved over time. This will be great for anyone looking to gain some speaking experience!

What is WordCamp?

WordCamp Bangkok is a community event that brings together bloggers, developers, designers, artists, small business owners, entrepreneurs, and educators from Thailand and all across Asia. We would like to have WordCamp Bangkok represent the passion, talent, and diversity of our community, and we want you to be a part of it!

What We Look For

We do NOT require you to be famous, “expert”, programmer, or have special certification. If you haven’t spoken at a conference before, don’t let that hold you back! All we ask is that you be able to present your chosen topic passionately and respectfully.

We do have some general guidelines for talks, though, and here they are: Your talk should be…

  • directly related to WordPress, or immediately applicable and relevant to our audience
  • respectful of the WordPress community, the WordCamp code of conduct, and the GPL
  • something that interests you, that you want to share!

Event Details

  • Talks will be 35 minutes in length. Please expect to have between 5 to 10 minutes for Q&A.
  • In case of receiving many interesting topics, we may set some topics as lighting talk (short talk for 5-10 minutes)
  • Talks will be on Sunday, 18 Febuary 2018.
  • We plan to record all talks and post the videos to WordPress.tv.
  • Speakers will be offered free admission to WordCamp Bangkok, but will not be otherwise compensated.

The deadline to submit your speaker application is Sunday, 31 December 2017, at 11:59pm Thailand time. We will announce the activity schedule on Sunday, 7 January 2018.

If you’d like to propose multiple topics, please submit the form multiple times, once for each topic.
